Supermicro's SC808 1U chassis features a unique and highly-optimized design for 1U Twin servers. The layout and chassis design provides 2 Nodes in 1U and up to 84 nodes in a 42U standard rack, which significantly reduces IT space costs. With double the connectivity, each node also supports dual 3.5" hot-swap drive bays. The SC808 chassis reduces cost by providing higher power efficiency and provides simplified cabling, better air flow, and easier maintenance. Gold Level high-efficiency 1200W power supply makes this high density server chassis even more powerful! Bulk package and quick release slide rails also available for HPC and datacenter use.
