Jin “Tom” Xiao
Senior Corporate Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Xiao is a Senior Corporate Vice President of Engineering and directs a broad portfolio including software engineering and product development, switch development, lab validation, and global IT operations. Xiao joined Supermicro in 2001 as a Staff Hardware Design Engineer and has since played a pivotal role in scaling the Company’s product portfolio and technical infrastructure. Prior to joining Supermicro, Tom served as the Assistant General Manager of R&D at Lenovo QDI. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Automation from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
