Ho do I perform a BMC reset using SAA?

Answer
You may perform a BMC reset using SAA using the following command:

Single system:
  • ./saa -i [BMC IP] -u ADMIN -p PASSWORD -c BmcReset --immediate
    • You can set a delay using --delay [# in minutes]  instead of --immediate ex. --delay 1 will delay the reset by 1 minute)
    • You can use --bmc_boot_check
to verify when the reset is completed
Multi-System:
  • ./saa -l SList.txt -u ADMIN -p PASSWORD -c BmcReset --immediate
    • Where SList.txt is a text file with a list of BMC IP's in the following format:

SList.txt:

192.168.34.56

192.168.34.57

Note: if you are using SAA revision 1.2 or earlier, the command will be TimedBmcReset, instead.
