I have a X12DAI-N motherboard that connected to a USB HDD (Seagate Expansion Desktop 20TB), there were quite a few BSOD in Windows 2022 regularly as I spin down the drive most of the time (with the tool hdd scan) since the drive will be used only once a month. One BSOD may be occur when hddscan tries to spinup the drive. Maybe there are other hdd action who causes BSOD.
Do you have any information on how to resolve this issue?
BSOD in Windows normally has to do with device driver. Since this is Windows OS related, you might want to open ticket with Microsoft and have them look at the Windows crash dump file as I don’t have a way and expertise to interpret the file. Please open ticket with Microsoft and have them look at the Windows crash dump.
