On rare occasions, H13SRE-F Linux users may observe corrected errors in the Error Detection and Correction (EDAC) logs, while these errors do not appear in the BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) logs. Should any action be taken?
Corrected errors reported in EDAC logs are directly communicated from the CPU to the operating system and are automatically handled by the system. These do not require user intervention.
The BMC is primarily designed to monitor uncorrected errors or hardware-related issues that may require user attention. If uncorrected errors are detected, we recommend contacting our technical support team promptly to assess and address any potential hardware failures.
