2023US-TR4; System manual shows DIMM population for 16 DIMMs, but we got only 8 DIMMs, what DIMM population will you suggest for this dual-CPU system? 
Or, is 16 DIMMs a must?

8 * DIMMs should be fine to boot up system, but performance may not be as good as validated/expected.
Please populate your 8 * DIMMs to both sides of CPU1 and CPU2. 
Install DIMMs to channel-1/Channel-2 and Channel-5/Channel-6; A2/B2 and E2/F2.
