Question
We have a this new system SYS-222C-TN has 4 small backplanes for the drive bays; do you know if each backplane has an Expander to connect just one cable from a storage controller?

Answer
No Expander for each backplane, each SATA/SAS connector port can support 4 drives, each  NVMe connector port can support 2 NVMe drives.
