Question
We have a supermicro server with the following configuration:-
Server Model:- 6027TR-HTRF
Motherboard:- X9DRT-HF
 
We are trying to install SAS drives in these servers, so we require your support as these servers by default only support SATA drives.
While going through certains links and documentation we found out we achieve the same using Add-on SAS card (model BPN-ADP-SAS2-L6I).
Need your opinion on this.

X9DRT-HF based SYS- 6027TR-HTRF has been EOL for very long time.  We no longer have the parts in our inventory, so I can’t comment on the compatibility of the controller with current available SAS drives.
