Question
We have a SYS-121H-TNR that we try to install Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS. The OS installation keeps failing when it tries to configure the storage devices. Is there any way to get pass this?

Answer
If system has been configured with VROC RAID that's orphaned or failed, the Ubiquity installer might not able to handle it, so it fails.  You can clean up the drives before OS installation.

# sgdisk -Z /dev/sda
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda seek=$(($(blockdev --getsz /dev/sda-10))

Afterward, reboot the system and try the OS installation again.
