I have two SYS-741P-TR servers that SATA HDD activity LEDs are not flashing on the drive carriers during Active I/O.  How do I troubleshoot the issue?

Centon drives could be SATA Spec 3.1 which has pin-11 disabled (LED off).  Under this spec, the drive will not toggle Pin 11 unless the host controller explicitly sends a command to enable it.  That's the reason why HDD activity LED never flash.  Replace the SATA drive with Enterprise grade should solve your issue.
