The Supermicro AOC-SMG4-2M2 is a PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 M.2 OS boot storage RAID adapter that enables the user to add up to two NVMe or SATA M.2 SSDs and supports M,2 hot-swappable with converter. M.2 solid state technology is an optimized, high-performance, scalable storage solution, effectively streamlined for enterprise and client systems that leverage the cutting-edge power of PCI Express 4.0 technology. AOC-SMG4-2M2 supports hot-swappable M.2 with converter, in 22110 and 2280 M.2 SSD form factors with RAID 0 and RAID 1.
This product is only available through Supermicro. Supermicro recommends that you use AOC-SMG4-2M2 ONLY as an operating system boot device. 2 pcs MCP-220-12108-0N (the M.2 Converter Tray) are needed.
